I have been testing against the robot at h323.voxgratia.org. I can
hear the voice at the other side perfectly, and the robot detects my IP address without any problem. I can also record my voice, but when the recording is played back to me, the sound is choppy, and almost unintelligible. The statistics on my side do not report anything in the way of dropped packets, and the connection log is the following: 11:04:20 Started GnomeMeeting 1.2.1 for user xxx 11:04:23 Updated information on ils.seconix.com 11:04:25 Set STUN server to stun.voxgratia.org (Cone NAT) 11:04:33 Calling h323:h323.voxgratia.org 11:04:44 Opened Intel ICH5 for recording with plugin ALSA 11:04:44 Opened codec iLBC-13k3{sw} for transmission 11:04:44 Connected with woomera using Post Increment Woomera 1.0alpha1 11:04:44 Opened Intel ICH5 for playing with plugin ALSA 11:04:44 Opened codec G.711-uLaw-64k for reception 11:04:46 Updated information on ils.seconix.com 11:07:31 Stopping current call 11:07:32 Closed codec iLBC-13k3{sw} which was opened for transmission 11:07:32 Closed codec G.711-uLaw-64k which was opened for reception 11:07:33 Local user cleared the call 11:07:37 Updated information on ils.seconix.com I know that my sound board is working fine, and so is my networking in general. I surmise that my voice gets to the robot already broken up, in the way the robot faithfully replays it for me. Any suggestions on how to fix this? _______________________________________________ GnomeMeeting-list mailing list [hidden email] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnomemeeting-list |

There could be a broken router between the gateway and you. Have you tried disabling G.711 to force the use of iLBC 13 for transmission AND reception? Also try with another user, and report back. -- _ Damien Sandras (o- GnomeMeeting: http://www.gnomemeeting.org/ //\ FOSDEM 2005 : http://www.fosdem.org v_/_ H.323 phone : callto:ils.seconix.com/[hidden email] _______________________________________________ GnomeMeeting-list mailing list [hidden email] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnomemeeting-list |
